You can change your display name or author name by updating your profile. This update will automatically ripple through to all your posts and pages.
- Log in to /wp-admin
- Click on Users | Your Profile
- Update your ‘Nickname’ to whatever you want the author name to be
- Select this name from the ‘Display name publicly’ drop down box
- Click Update Profile
